From film adapts like The Mandalorian to celebrity takeovers, playing cards have been used countless times in today’s era to represent our culture. But they’ve always included outdated gender constructs (kings, queens and jacks) that exclude so many people. It was time to turn the everyday playing card into a catalyst for cultural change. On Non-Binary People’s Day, we launched #DealThemIn: the world’s first deck of Non-Binary cards, which discarded the traditional kings, queens, and jacks in favour of more representative, stunningly designed icons.
